Class Reworks
Your favorite classes have new innate abilities and expanded toolkit:
- Knight — Now equips crossbows. Rend ability deals actual damage along with breaks. Reequip is an innate ability.
- Thief — Innate Poach ability lets you steal from enemies without swapping gear.
- Archer — Starts with Concentration ability. Poison Shot ability added to arsenal.
- Time Mage — Innate Swiftspell ability for faster casts.
- Orator — Innate Beastmaster ability to control wild enemies.
- Dragoon — Innate Jump +2 for enhanced aerial combat.
- Samurai — Now equips bows and polearms. Innate Monkey Grip for dual-wielding. Improved magic power.
- Mystic — Magic power increased. Equip Poles ability unlocked.
- Bard — Speed tuning for better song timing.
- Machinist/Mustadio — Innate Concentration. Can equip guns, bows, and crossbows. Safeguard preserved.
Combat Changes
- Weapon Balance — Knives and crossbows hit harder.
- Status Magic — Beneficial status spells land more reliably.
- Knight Arts of War — Rend now deals damage when it breaks.
Story Characters
Agrias
- Holy Sword now casts Protect, Shell, Esuna, and Raise—powerful white magic spells brand new to her arsenal.
- Her Paladin class has been reworked to support this expanded magic toolkit.
Ramza
- Shadowblade and Duskblade abilities unlock in chapters 2–4 for expanded combat options.
Malak
- Character name restored to the PSX translation (was displaying as Marach in Enhanced).
Nosafune Katana
- Samurai's signature blade renamed to Nosafune, marking the mod's identity.
Quality of Life & Polish
- Class Descriptions — Updated help text for all modified classes explains new abilities and equipment.
- Title Screen — Displays "NOSAFUNE EDITION" to mark your customized experience.
- Enemy Gear — Enemies outfit themselves better as you progress through harder battles.
